The entire control system of Auto Slitting Machine adopts German SIEMENS SIMATIC motion controller to realize servo closed-loop automatic speed regulation, automatic deviation correction, and automatic tension balance, with an operating speed of up to 600m/min. The whole machine is operated by a centralized PLC touch screen system, which can pre-store 30 sets of slitting recipes and switch with one button, saving manual setting time.


Ultra-precision material guiding · CCD correction system

The Auto Slitting Machine is equipped with an imported CCD image tracking system to monitor the film edge or alignment mark in real time, and can automatically fine-tune the film material path. The correction accuracy reaches ±0.1mm, ensuring that the cutting edges are neat and not offset under high-speed operation. It is especially suitable for sanitary product films with high requirements for pattern positioning, such as adhesive-backed films, water-absorbing core layer release films, etc.


Low-tension slip winding · High-uniformity finished products

The Auto Slitting Machine adopts a slip shaft structure for winding, combined with a material-receiving roller with automatic pressure difference control, which can achieve neat winding under low tension for 12μm-50μm degradable film materials, with a maximum winding diameter of Φ1000mm. This structure avoids film stretching deformation or deflection, and is suitable for flexible processing requirements of materials of different thicknesses.


Online trimming and edge material recycling · Reduce raw material waste

Auto Slitting Machine integrates online edge material trimming and synchronous recycling system, and collects edge materials by vacuum adsorption or tension winding after cutting off the film edge. It is especially critical for high-cost environmentally friendly film materials, which can control the edge material loss rate within 3%, improve material utilization rate, and optimize overall production costs.


Corona treatment device · Coating and composite pre-treatment guarantee

Built-in high-efficiency corona treatment unit, support surface corona intensity adjustment, increase the surface tension of film material to ≥38dyn/cm, suitable for subsequent deep processing such as silicon coating, composite, printing, etc. This function is particularly suitable for the pre-treatment of degradable film materials in the production line to ensure the adhesion of the subsequent process.

At Kimberly-Clark Nanjing Base, Auto Slitting Machine is used for high-speed slitting of PLA+PE composite environmentally friendly film materials. The customer selected the JW-FQ1750JJ-1000 model, with a minimum cutting width of 50mm and a maximum cutting width of 800mm. The daily slitting film output reached 180,000 meters. Servo drive system regular inspection

The whole machine operation depends on multiple groups of SIEMENS servo drives to coordinate operations. It is recommended to check whether the cooling fan is operating normally and whether the surface temperature of the drive exceeds the safety threshold every 300 hours of operation. If there is a drive alarm or current instability, check the power supply fluctuation or replace the fan.


Cleaning of CCD lens and light source for correction

The CCD correction system needs to keep the optical components clean and transparent. It is recommended to use dust-free cloth and optical alcohol to clean the lens surface after weekly shutdown to avoid dust blocking and affecting the recognition accuracy. Check the brightness of the light source every month. If the illumination is significantly attenuated, it is recommended to replace the LED component.


Air pressure detection and replacement of differential axis

The internal tension distribution of the differential axis is controlled by air pressure fine-tuning. It is recommended to check whether the air pressure is maintained at the set value every month. If problems such as slippage, wrinkles, and jams are found during winding, the rubber airbag should be disassembled to check whether it is leaking, and the air ring and sleeve should be replaced in time to ensure uniform winding.


Daily inspection and precise adjustment of cutting tools

Circular knives or flat knives are core parts for high-speed operation. It is recommended to check the wear of the cutting edge after running 100,000 meters of material. If burrs or tears appear on the cutting surface, the blade should be re-grinded or replaced. Keeping the knife holder balanced and the pressure constant is an important prerequisite for ensuring the neatness of the cutting edge.


Corona treatment device maintenance

The corona device needs to regularly check whether the discharge electrode has carbon deposits. It is recommended to clean the electrode area every two weeks to prevent uneven corona from causing overheating or breakdown of the film surface. The corona intensity controller also needs to detect whether the voltage output is stable to avoid degradation of coating performance.
