Cast Film Extrusion Machine consists of a screw extruder, a wide die head, a spiral flow channel cooling roller, a film guide system, an online trimming device, a central winding unit and an intelligent control module. It is an efficient extrusion equipment designed for the production of polyethylene cast film.

Efficient plasticizing system: screw structure optimization

Cast Film Extrusion Machine adopts Ф150mm main screw + Ф90mm auxiliary screw. The dual-machine joint extrusion design can achieve coordinated control of different raw material proportions, improve plasticizing uniformity, and reduce crystal point impurities. The hourly production capacity can reach 550kg, which effectively supports the molding of multi-layer film structures.


Stable cooling unit: spiral flow channel temperature control

The main cooling roller adopts a spiral water channel design, and the temperature control system maintains the surface temperature difference at ±0.5℃, ensuring the stability of the film cooling speed, which helps to improve the thickness uniformity and flatness of the film material, especially suitable for high-standard film requirements in the gram weight range of 14-60g/㎡.


Energy-saving intelligent control: low operating cost

The whole line adopts Siemens PLC centralized control, supplemented by automatic thickness detection, automatic roll change, MES system and other modules, which reduces manual intervention and improves operation stability. The energy-saving system can reduce energy costs by more than 15% in long-term operation.


Automatic winding system: precise center tension control

The maximum winding diameter is Φ1000mm, supporting center drive and auxiliary shaft pulling functions, consistent winding tightness, neat film rolls, and can be directly connected to downstream automatic packaging or composite processes to reduce manual handling and scrap rates.


Multifunctional expansion module: flexible response to personalized needs

Application

Baby diaper bottom film production line

Cast Film Extrusion Machine is deployed in Hengan’s Fujian production base to manufacture soft PE cast bottom film. The uniformity of the film below 10μm is ensured by the online thickness detection system, and the high standard requirements of the film roll consistency of the high-speed production line are achieved.


Manufacture of sanitary napkin bottom film

Cooperating with P&G to produce sanitary napkin film materials, the Cast Film Extrusion Machine's automatic trimming function of the edge material effectively improves the utilization rate of the film width, and cooperates with the automatic taping system to facilitate the back-end lamination, and realize the rapid delivery of high-quality sanitary materials.

Extrusion system cleaning and lubrication

It is recommended to clean the screw and the inside of the barrel every month, and use high-flow material replacement cleaning particles to remove residual plasticizers to avoid coking and blocking the flow channel; the main reducer needs to replace the lubricating oil once every 3 months to extend the service life of the gear.


Die head maintenance and screen replacement operation

After each batch of product switching or cumulative production exceeds 200 tons, the die head needs to be disassembled and the lip residue needs to be cleaned with a high-temperature fiber-free cloth to prevent uneven film thickness; it is recommended to replace the melt filter screen regularly to keep the discharge smooth.


Cooling roller system maintenance

The water channel of the cooling roller needs to be descaled and the inner wall anti-corrosion treatment every quarter to maintain the heat transfer efficiency for a long time; the cooling pump and water valve components need to be inspected for scaling and water leakage to prevent uneven cooling from causing film deformation.


Electrical system inspection and upgrade

Perform a comprehensive inspection of the PLC, touch screen, and electrical control cabinet wiring every six months to check for hidden dangers such as looseness and cold welding. At the same time, update the software system regularly to optimize the control logic and improve the overall operation stability.


Mechanical maintenance of the winding unit

Regularly check the sensitivity of the tension sensor and the response delay of the feedback system, clean the winding arm slide rail, and keep the power shaft transmission smooth; the sealing ring of the winding air shaft needs to be replaced in time if it is worn to avoid slipping.
